Ninjabread 20 - Tournament Painting Accessories

I really like finishing armies for tournaments, and have an awful habit of starting (and only just finishing) one for every tournament I attend. I feel weird taking the same army to two consecutive tournament, I guess it's a hangover from when I just did one event a year.

Am I alone, or are you one of those people that's entirely unstressed and serene with tournament deadlines, as your army's been finished for months and all you have to do is decide which band tee-shirts to wear?

Well I was up till 1:30am last night getting the final washes on some new Daemon units. I now have the bases on 7 models to do, the army list and print the rules pack.
So yes I can safely say you are not alone dude!
Though nothing beats the year when we all helped Bob paint his entire CSM army on the Friday afternoon/evening.
I will admit to rushing out those Nyss Hunters for the Altrincham Altercation. Usually I'm fully painted well in advance though. Choosing the appropriate waistcoat, however, is a bloody nightmare.
Neil - I still think Mick takes the biscuit the year he bought a unit of Chaos Terminators at Warhammer World the Saturday morning of the Grand Tournament.
Jon - but you make it look so effortless.
And is that handsome looking chap in the second picture supposed to be the epitomy of pre-tournament readiness?
Yes. Just look at him thoroughly enjoying himself with the young beautiful creatures of the night.
That's a lovely picture of the back of my head there. Still, it got me full points for painting. IF there's one this year though, i'll be nice and drunk in a bar somewhere - my stuff's now all painted
Awesome! You redone the bases all cracked like you mentioned last year?
