I saw the amphitheatre, it looks fab.
It’s greyboard, not MDF, so it should take paint better than MDF *I think*.

Big 35mm resin gladiator models don’t interest me, even if they are nice.
I would go straight to EM4 and pick up the old Grenadier gladiator models. Copplestones I think.

In reply to Paul Shorten. It was ... television. I'm looking forward to Martin Scorsese's take on Rome. Have you seen the Sarissa Amphitheatre for gladiator combat games? They're got loads of fun bits that are tempting me at the moment, including the Triumphal Arch that might make me suspend my no-MDF rules. Arena Rex do a gorgeous set of gladiatorial figures.
